ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS & TERRITORY

Direct purchases for residential interiors.

This warranty applies to OBJECT & TONE cabinet pulls, knobs, T-bar pulls and long pulls purchased directly from objecttone.com and delivered to an address in the United States, Canada or Australia.

The product must be used on indoor residential cabinetry in accordance with its product information and OBJECT & TONE care and installation guidance. A separate written agreement may provide different terms for an approved commercial or trade project.

WHO IS COVERED

The original residential end user.

Coverage belongs to the original residential end user of the product. That person may be covered when the order was placed on their behalf by an interior designer, architect, builder, cabinetmaker or gift purchaser, provided the original OBJECT & TONE proof of purchase can be supplied and the end user can be identified.

The warranty is not transferable to a secondhand purchaser or a later owner or occupant of the property.

WARRANTY PERIOD

Ten years from delivery.

The limited mechanical warranty lasts for ten years beginning on the documented delivery date. If the delivery date cannot reasonably be established, the period begins on the order date shown on the original proof of purchase.

A repair or replacement does not begin a new ten-year period. Any repaired or replacement product remains covered only for the balance of the original warranty period, subject to applicable law.

WHAT IS COVERED

Mechanical integrity under normal residential use.

Coverage is limited to qualifying manufacturing and mechanical defects that materially prevent the hardware from performing its normal function. Appearance and ordinary aging are addressed separately below.

MANUFACTURING DEFECTS

Defects present in the hardware itself.

Subject to this warranty, coverage includes a verified defect in materials or manufacture of the hardware body, base or integral mounting connection that materially affects normal installation or use.

A visible defect, wrong item or transit damage noticed on delivery should be reported promptly through delivery or product-support channels. Those concerns can be reviewed even when they are not a long-term mechanical failure.

MECHANICAL DEFECTS

Failure of the intended working structure.

Examples that may qualify after assessment include an integral part that fractures during normal use or a manufacturing-related thread or connection failure that prevents the hardware from remaining securely mounted when the correct screw, panel condition and installation method were used.

Evidence of the installation may be required because a loose piece is not, by itself, proof of a product defect.

FINISH APPEARANCE

Mechanical coverage is not a promise of permanent color.

This ten-year warranty is a limited mechanical warranty. It does not warrant that color, sheen or surface appearance will remain unchanged. Touch, cleaning, moisture, light, air and the surrounding environment can create normal wear or variation over time.

A suspected finish defect present at delivery may still be submitted promptly for product-quality review. Do not polish, refinish or chemically treat the affected piece before contacting us.

READ THE FINISH GUIDE

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Conditions outside a manufacturing or mechanical defect.

The following exclusions help distinguish a product defect from appearance, installation, care, cabinet or site conditions. Nothing here excludes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

NORMAL WEAR & APPEARANCE

Patina, wear and incidental marks.

Not covered under the ten-year mechanical warranty: expected finish evolution or patina; color or sheen variation; fingerprints; ordinary wear at high-touch areas; scratches, dents or abrasion after delivery; and differences caused by lighting, screen display, adjacent materials or natural variation.

INSTALLATION, IMPACT & MODIFICATION

Damage created outside the product.

Not covered: incorrect hole spacing or placement; unsuitable screw length; over-tightening; cross-threading; forced alignment; unsupported or damaged cabinetry; impact; accident; abuse; misuse; repair, polishing, recoating, alteration or modification by anyone other than OBJECT & TONE.

CARE & ENVIRONMENT

Aggressive products and unsuitable conditions.

Not covered: damage or change caused by abrasive pads, metal polish, bleach, acids, ammonia, solvents or harsh cleaners; standing water; persistent condensation; corrosive substances; outdoor exposure; marine or coastal conditions; or unusually high humidity where the product is used outside stated care and environmental guidance.

CARE & INSTALLATION

USE & RELATED COSTS

Commercial settings, cabinetry and third-party work.

Unless separately agreed in writing, this warranty does not cover commercial, hospitality, rental common-area or public-use installations. It does not cover cabinet damage, wall or surface damage, installation errors, removal or reinstallation labor, professional fees, lost use or other incidental or consequential loss, except to the extent those exclusions are prohibited by applicable law.

OUR REMEDY

A proportionate response after the defect is confirmed.

We begin with evidence and remote assessment so the product, installation and concern can be understood before anything is removed or returned.

AVAILABLE REMEDIES

Repair, replacement or refund.

If OBJECTTONE LLC confirms a covered defect, it may, at its option, repair the affected product, replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product, or refund the original purchase price paid for the affected merchandise.

Selection of the remedy is subject to rights that cannot be limited by law. In Australia, a major failure may entitle the consumer to choose a replacement or refund and to other remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.

COMPARABLE REPLACEMENT

Collections and finishes can evolve.

If the original item, size or finish is no longer available, a reasonably comparable replacement may differ in design, dimensions, color, sheen or surface character. We will explain the proposed resolution before sending a substitute.

Only the affected product is eligible for remedy unless a broader remedy is required by applicable law.

LIMIT OF THE WRITTEN REMEDY

The original warranty period continues.

To the extent permitted by law, this written warranty does not reimburse labor to remove or reinstall hardware, refinishing, cabinet repair, project delay or other third-party costs. Repair or replacement does not extend or restart the original ten-year period.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

Keep the product. Show the complete installation.

A complete first message helps us assess the concern without asking the customer to remove working hardware or ship an item before it is necessary.

STEP 01 · IDENTIFY

Gather the order and product details.

Provide the order number or original proof of purchase; purchaser and original end-user names if different; product or collection name; finish; size; quantity affected; delivery date if known; installation date; delivery country; and installation address or project city.

STEP 02 · DOCUMENT

Describe the product, cabinet and care history.

Explain when the issue began and how it affects normal use. Include panel thickness, screw length if known, mounting condition, frequency of use and the cleaning products and methods used. Send clear photographs of the entire installed piece, the affected detail, the cabinet face and mounting area. Video may be requested when movement or function is involved.

STEP 03 · PRESERVE

Do not discard or rework the evidence.

Keep the affected hardware, mounting parts and original packaging while the claim is reviewed. Do not discard, polish, refinish, modify, force, disassemble or otherwise rework the product before receiving instructions, unless action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or further property damage.

STEP 04 · SUBMIT

Email the complete claim.

Send the information and files to hello@objecttone.com with the subject line Warranty claim — order number. You may also call +1 346 256-5465. Email remains the preferred starting point because photographs and order evidence are normally required.

ASSESSMENT

Remote review first; return inspection only if needed.

OBJECT & TONE may request additional photographs, video, measurements or installation records. If the available evidence is not sufficient, we may require the affected product to be returned for inspection. Do not send a product without return instructions.

CLAIM EXPENSES

Approved claims include standard shipping support.

If a return inspection is required, OBJECT & TONE will provide a prepaid return label where available or reimburse reasonable standard return-shipping costs according to written instructions. For an approved claim, we will cover standard replacement shipping and necessary import charges for the replacement.

If inspection indicates that the claim is not covered, we will advise the customer before any further customer-paid shipping or service cost is incurred.

SERVICE TARGETS

Acknowledgment within three business days.

We aim to acknowledge a complete claim within three business days and provide an initial decision or substantive next step within ten business days after receiving all reasonably requested evidence. If physical inspection, carrier research or additional technical review is needed, the process may take longer; we will communicate the next step and expected timing.

These are service targets, not guarantees that alter statutory or warranty rights.

REGIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS

This warranty adds to rights that the law protects.

Consumer-protection rights differ by location. This warranty does not exclude, restrict or modify a guarantee, condition, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

UNITED STATES

State rights may vary.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so a limitation or exclusion in this warranty may not apply to you.

CANADA

Provincial and territorial rights remain.

This limited warranty is in addition to rights and remedies available under applicable provincial or territorial consumer-protection law. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies a statutory right or implied condition or warranty to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

AUSTRALIA · MANDATORY NOTICE

Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates. To claim this warranty, contact OBJECTTONE LLC using the address, email or telephone shown on this page and follow the claim steps above. Claim-related expense responsibility is described under Claim expenses.

WARRANTY QUESTIONS

Direct answers before you make a claim.

These answers summarize the written terms above. Where an answer and the full terms differ, the full terms and applicable law control.

FINISH Does the 10-year warranty guarantee that the finish will not change?

No. It is a limited mechanical warranty, not a ten-year promise that color or sheen will remain unchanged. Normal wear, patina and appearance changes caused by touch, cleaning, moisture, light, air or environment are not mechanical defects. A suspected finish defect present at delivery should be reported promptly before the product is installed, polished or modified.

ELIGIBILITY Am I covered if my designer, builder or cabinetmaker placed the order?

Yes, the original residential end user may be covered when a designer, architect, builder, cabinetmaker or gift purchaser bought the product on that person's behalf. The original OBJECT & TONE proof of purchase must be available, and we may ask for information linking the order to the original end user and project.

TRANSFER Does the warranty transfer when the home or hardware is sold?

No. The warranty belongs to the original residential end user and does not transfer to a secondhand purchaser or a later owner or occupant of the property. Non-transferability does not limit any separate rights a person may have under applicable law.

TERM Does a repair or replacement restart the ten-year period?

No. A repaired or replacement item is covered only for the time remaining in the original ten-year period, subject to rights that cannot be limited by law.

CLAIM EXPENSES Who pays shipping for a warranty claim?

We assess photographs, video and order information first. If return inspection is required, we provide a prepaid label where available or reimburse reasonable standard return shipping according to written instructions. For an approved claim, we cover standard replacement shipping and necessary import charges. If the issue is not covered, we advise you before any further customer-paid cost is incurred.

USE Is a hospitality, rental or commercial project covered?

Not under the standard residential warranty unless OBJECT & TONE agreed to separate written terms for that project. Contact the Trade team before ordering for a commercial, hospitality, rental common-area or public-use installation.

VISIT THE TRADE PROGRAM →

DELIVERY What if the product arrives damaged, incorrect or visibly defective?

Photograph the product, packaging and shipping label and contact us promptly with the order number before installation. Transit damage, a wrong item or a visible issue at delivery is handled through delivery or product support and does not need to become a long-term mechanical failure before it is reported.

INSTALLATION Is a loose pull automatically a covered mechanical defect?

No. A loose pull can result from screw length, panel compression, hole alignment, over-tightening or cabinet condition. Stop heavy use, preserve the parts and send photographs of the complete installation, panel thickness and mounting condition so the cause can be assessed.

READ CARE & INSTALLATION →

CLAIMS May I remove, polish or discard the product before review?

Keep the product, mounting parts and packaging and do not polish, modify, force, disassemble or discard them before receiving instructions, unless action is reasonably necessary for safety. Missing or altered evidence may prevent us from confirming the cause of the issue.

AUSTRALIA Does this written warranty replace Australian Consumer Law guarantees?

No. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law. The mandatory Australian notice and the warrantor's contact and claim details appear in the Regional consumer rights section above.
